Whistler Sliding Centre
The Whistler Sliding Centre was the site of the bobsleigh, luge and skeleton competitions for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games. This high performance, world-class sliding sports venue includes a 1,450 metre long competition track, as well as venue support buildings.

Top Athlete Start House – Indoor Space
- Located at the top of the track, this 81 ft. x 33 ft. open room is ideal for intimate meetings
- Capacity: 90 people
- Includes a small kitchen facility with sink, fridge, oven, microwave and dishwasher
- Accessible washroom facilities available on-site
- Parking available
Top Athlete Start House – Upper Sport Deck
- Located at the top of the track (beside the men’s luge start area), this roof covered 50 ft. x 91 ft. wooden deck with stunning views of Whistler Village below is an excellent hosting location
- Capacity: 60 people
- Please note: this is a non-wheelchair accessible area, there is no elevator or ramp access to the upper sport deck
Top Athlete Start House – Lower Sport Deck
- Located beside the bobsleigh and skeleton start, this large open-air 98 ft. x 88 ft. concrete deck is large enough to host 600 – 800 people
- Easy tenting capability
- Waterfall views
Track Lodge
- Located near the bottom of the track, this large 25.5 ft. x 62 ft. open meeting space is surrounded by large windows with mountain views
- Capacity: 64 people
- Accessible washroom facilities available on-site
Whistler Olympic Park
The official site for all cross-country skiing, biathlon, Nordic combined, and ski jumping competitions during the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, now offers a spectacular venue for your meetings, conferences, and other events.
Whistler Olympic Park is located in the Callaghan Valley approximately 20 kilometres south of Whistler Village. Surrounded by spectacular scenery and wilderness, this venue features five unique indoor meeting facilities with countless outdoor options, on-site parking, and a host of summer and winter activities.

Day Lodge
In the winter, the Day Lodge serves as the hub for all events, while several other unique elements complement the Park’s location and add to the guest’s experience. Ski Callaghan, home of Whistler Olympic Park, offers snow sport enthusiasts 90 kilometres of expertly groomed and track set cross-country ski trails including five kilometres of lit trails for night skiing, making the Callaghan Valley a truly world-class Nordic ski area. Other features include a biathlon range, snowshoeing trails, ski jumps and views of glacier-swept mountains. The stunning views from the Day Lodge will compliment any special event you have planned.
Cross-Country Competition Centre
The 6,000 square-foot cross-country competition centre is used mainly as the technical centre for cross-country skiing events. The main building of the cross-country competition centre is not open to the public but is used for meetings and courses. The West Wing of the competition centre contains a large space which is used as a base of operations for training athletes and teams.
Biathlon Competition Centre
The 6,000 square-foot biathlon competition centre is used mainly as the technical centre for biathlon events. The biathlon competition centre is not be open to the public but is used for meetings, courses, and as an athlete centre and team waxing area. It also contains several offices for venue staff.
Biathlon Range
Whistler Olympic Park’s state-of-the-art electronic biathlon range is used for training, special events, and is open to the public for supervised programs during winter and summer. Try your hand at biathlon!

Jumping Hills, Lift and Judges’ Tower
The ski jumping venue is not open for public use; however, the jump hill walk-on ski lift will be used to access the top of the jumps for pre-booked groups and training events.
Parking – Public and Event Parking
Whistler Olympic Park has eight public access parking lots to conveniently service the various parts of the venue. In the winter there is plenty of parking with capacity of more than 500 vehicles. Summer parking is greatly expanded with easily accessible bus and vehicle parking to accommodate large events, festivals and sport competitions.
